Laurel (Aleppo) Bar Soaps
The Aleppo soap is one of the world's oldest traditional bar soaps. Authentic Aleppo soap is made with 80% olive oil and 20% laurel berry oil, without synthetic detergents, fragrances, preservatives, or additives.
Traditionally produced in the Hatay region of Turkey, each bar is aged for at least 9 months. (typically between 9–18 months) This aging process helps create a harder, milder, and longer-lasting bar of soap. The finished bar has a characteristic earthy, herbal laurel scent, with a brown-outer surface and olive-green interior.
How to use
Use the soap to cleanse your face and body, for shaving, or as a shampoo bar. If you have sensitive skin, perform a patch test before use.
Care for your bar
Keep the soap on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses. Store unused bars in a cool, dry place.
